James Shannon - Guitar Teacher

James Shannon has over 25 years of guitar playing experience, starting at aged 4 he has been obsessed with the instrument ever since ! In 2016 James graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford . Following that he has taught in multiple schools , performed in many settings in the UK plus toured abroad. James is also busy in the recording studio with his duo ' Shannon&Keast ' which attracts millions of streams each year on spotify . Lessons with James are guaranteed to be student centred , suitably paced , fun and inspirational .

Lesson Details

James teaches both Acoustic and Electric Guitar , as well as the Ukulele !

Free taster lesson is offered to every student .

Lesson durations are chosen by the student , either 30 mins , 45 mins or 1 hr in length .

Prices:

£15 for 30 mins

£22.50 for 45 mins

£30 for 1 hour ( 10% discount when lessons purchased in block of 5 )

Student centred learning , every lesson is tailored to your ability , pace of learning , aims and interests .

These will be discussed at your initial free taster, and reviewed periodically .

James caters for learning Grades , both Acoustic and Electric under nationally recognised exam boards ( Rockschool , Trinity , ABRSM ) .

James is fully D.B.S checked , Parents / Guardians are welcome to sit in on the lessons at their discretion .
